About the role

As Head of Treasury & Liquidity Management at Polygon Group, you will be responsible for overseeing the Group’s liquidity, funding and financial risk management across all countries.

As Polygon continues to grow, the role has been established to strengthen central control over liquidity, funding and working capital, ensuring improved cash visibility, stronger financial discipline and consistent governance across countries. It is a key position to support operational performance, optimise cash flow and enable sustainable growth. The position is based in Stockholm at Mäster Samuelsgatan 42 and reports to the Group CFO.

Key responsibilites

You will lead and manage Group treasury activities, including cash management, liquidity forecasting and working capital optimisation, and oversee both short‑ and long‑term liquidity planning to ensure sufficient funding. You will also be responsible for managing IHB/cash pooling and the reporting of the cash flow statement. You will manage engagement with lenders, banks and other financial institutions, including financing arrangements and facilities.

You will monitor and manage financial risks such as foreign exchange exposure, interest rates and counterparty risk, and provide regular reporting, insights and recommendations to Group Finance and senior stakeholders. You will develop and implement treasury policies, procedures and internal controls across all countries, improve cash flow visibility through enhanced forecasting processes, systems and tools, and ensure compliance with internal policies, financial regulations and governance.

You will drive a strong cash culture across the organisation, own and follow up working capital performance across countries, and define and monitor key performance indicators such as DSO, DPO, DIO, current assets and cash conversion.

In close collaboration with country CFOs and operational teams, you will improve and standardise billing, collections and payment processes, challenge and support local organisations in delivering measurable working capital improvements, and support M&A activities including financing, due diligence and the integration of treasury processes.

Qualifications

You hold a Master’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration or similar, and have 8–12+ years of relevant experience within treasury, corporate finance or banking. You bring strong experience in liquidity management, cash flow forecasting and financial risk management, combined with a proven track record of driving working capital improvements in an international environment with multiple countries and stakeholders.

You have strong knowledge of ERP and treasury management systems. Professional certification such as CFA or equivalent is an advantage, as is experience from a multinational, operationally driven organisation, service‑based or project‑driven industries, private equity environments, and M&A or post‑merger integration.

You combine strong analytical and financial modelling skills with the ability to translate financial insights into operational actions. You communicate effectively across organisational levels and demonstrate high integrity and professionalism, a structured and results‑oriented approach, strong ownership and accountability, and a collaborative, pragmatic mindset. Fluency in English and a willingness to travel approximately 10–20% are required.
